Bloom Travel, part of Bloom Group, successfully presented Greece as a premium and highly promising destination for the Vietnamese outbound tourism market during a special tourism promotion event held in Hanoi on 19 November 2025.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Hanoi Tourism Association and Turkish Airlines, with Bloom Travel playing a central role in presenting Greece land tour products, destination highlights, and proposed itineraries to leading Vietnamese travel companies.
As a Greece-based DMC with strong experience in Asian markets, Bloom Travel introduced its local operational capabilities, destination expertise, and tailor-made travel solutions for Vietnamese agencies seeking to develop Greece programs for their clients.
Vietnam’s outbound tourism sector continues to grow strongly, with increasing demand among Vietnamese travelers for international experiences. Within this trend, Greece stands out as a highly appealing destination, offering beautiful coastlines, rich cultural heritage, distinctive cuisine, and diverse natural landscapes.
The event welcomed nearly 50 travel companies, along with representatives from tourism authorities, diplomatic institutions, airline partners, and international tourism stakeholders.
Mr. Theodoros Sotiridis, CEO of Bloom Group, highlighted the strong potential for tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Greece.
“Vietnam is a very important and promising market for us. Greek tourism offers exactly the type of experience that many Vietnamese travelers are looking for: history, culture, islands, gastronomy, beautiful landscapes, and high-quality hospitality. Through Bloom Travel, our goal is to support Vietnamese travel partners with reliable local operations, competitive products, and carefully designed itineraries across Greece,” Mr. Sotiridis said.
During the presentation, Mrs. Jackie Chen, Sales Manager of Bloom Travel, introduced a selection of proposed Greece itineraries to the local travel agents. The programs included classic cultural routes, island combinations, leisure packages, and tailor-made travel ideas designed specifically for the needs and preferences of Vietnamese travelers.
Mrs. Chen also presented key destinations such as Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Delphi, Meteora, and other highlights, explaining how Bloom Travel can support local agents with complete land arrangements, hotels, transportation, guides, restaurants, ferry tickets, domestic travel, and on-site coordination.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, expressed his support for initiatives that help strengthen tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Greece. He noted that the promotion of Greek tourism products in Hanoi is expected to help Vietnamese travel companies access a highly promising international market.
He also expressed hope that more Vietnamese travelers will visit Greece, while encouraging stronger two-way tourism flows between Greece and Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Than, Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association, emphasized the importance of suitable pricing policies and strong cooperation between all parties. He noted that competitive pricing would help Vietnamese travel agencies design attractive tour programs and make Greece more accessible to Vietnamese travelers.
He also encouraged further support for visa facilitation and airline cooperation, as well as the organization of fam trips to strengthen mutual understanding between the two markets.
Mr. Christos Chatzopoulos, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Greece in Vietnam, highlighted Greece’s Mediterranean climate, unique landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. He noted that Greece continues to attract travelers from around the world and that Vietnam is considered a promising market with strong growth potential in the coming period.
